Overview

The 2026 FX HO WaveRunner comes with Yamaha’s 1.9 Litre High Output marine engine and 7-inch touchscreen, delivering a little bit of luxury and high-end performance, in a highly versatile and practical watercraft.

This model has proven very popular as a fishing platform due to its excellent stability and fuel efficiency. The sturdy and responsive hull and deck provides superb stability and handling in all conditions, while the large capacity 1.9 Litre High Output marine engine, delivers quick and smooth acceleration and high top-end speed.

The FX Cruiser HO comes with factory installed Yamaha audio speakers, 7-inch full-featured infotainment system with glass colour touchscreen and built-in GPS system*. This luxury craft also comes with smartphone integration, customisable Drive Controls with Auto Trim, a large glove box with a built-in light, USB and 12 volt charging ports, streamlined tilting handlebar with tie hooks, three-person luxury theatre style seat and a hull that delivers an extremely comfortable and dry ride.

All FX Series WaveRunners come with pre-drilled holes for easy installation of Yamaha's exclusive RecDeck platform, allowing you to connect JetFish and lounge accessory packages for more on-water action and versatility.

Key Features

Naturally Aspirated 1.9L High Output Engine

The 1898cc, four-stroke, four-cylinder, 16-valve High Output naturally aspirated Yamaha marine engine is the largest capacity engine in the industry. Combined with the 155mm high-pressure jet pump, this powerful engine provides extremely quick and smooth acceleration and a high top-end speed.

Sport Seat

The sport seat has been designed to comfortably seat up to three people. Separation of the front and rear sections makes maintenance and access to under-seat storage easy.

High Performance

The top loader intake grate (extra scoop) improves the pump efficiency on the 1.9L engine resulting in better acceleration, speed and less cavitation in choppy water conditions. * Image for illustration purposes only.

Integrated Speakers

All FX models come with factory installed Yamaha audio speakers with integrated Bluetooth. This system includes powerful twin 6.5-inch fully waterproof marine speakers for improved sound clarity and performance at high speeds, and an auto volume feature linked to acceleration - all managed by an easy access control pad.

Large 7" Touch Screen

The FX HO comes with a large 7-inch glass touch screen, with increased brightness and visibility; customisable screen options, screen and audio touch pad controls; GPS functionality*; all-in-one Bluetooth phone, text, voice activation and music connectivity; and enhanced Auto Trim, top speed and acceleration settings. *Maps sold separately.

Adjustable Steering

The handlebars are sleek and ergonomic, with small control boxes and integrated single Start/Stop button switch. The steering column can be adjusted up or down for different riding styles. Two tie hooks have been added to either side of the steering column, for easier tying up to docks.

Feature Packed Glove Box

The FX glove box provides 16.5L of useable storage, including a dedicated smart grip phone holder, USB and 12V power outlets and blue LED illumination to make finding your belongings easer in low light. * Prior year model colour shown.

Footwell Drains

A first for the watercraft industry, all FX Series WaveRunners come with built-in footwell drains, delivering a dryer and more comfortable riding experience.

Multi-Mount Capability

All FX models come with a multi-mount base (only) allowing you to connect action cameras, fish-finders and other devices, using third-party multi-mount connection systems. *Purchased separately. Overseas mounting systems and ski colour shown.

Multiple Ride Modes

The FX series includes a number of ride modes to improve your riding experience. From Advanced Reverse Assist for easier launching to customisable speed settings including Comfort, Performance, Economy and Towing. Riding the FX series couldn't be any easier! * Prior year model colour shown.

Electronic Trim

The electronic trim system allows the rider to quickly adjust how high or low the bow sits in the water, improving the crafts overall handling and on-water performance. This system can be engaged for improved cornering, carrying multiple passengers, towing or in rough conditions.

Cruise Assist and No Wake Mode

Cruise Assist allows the rider to set a consistent engine speed, helping to reduce throttle fatigue, improve fuel efficiency and help make longer trips more comfortable. Three No Wake Mode settings cap the engine’s RPMs at an optimum idle speed, for travelling through no-wake zones and other restricted areas.

RiDE Dual Control System

Yamaha’s patented RiDE is the world's first dual throttle handlebar control system, that makes handling easy, fun and intuitive. Pull the right lever to accelerate and the left lever to decelerate and for reverse. Release both levers, or in any combination, and the system reacts with precise control.

Deep Reboarding Step and Handles

The FX WaveRunner series includes twin reboarding handles and a wide and extra-deep ergonomically designed soft-touch reboarding step, making climbing back onboard extra easy and safe. The reboarding step conveniently tucks away when not in use. * Prior year model colour shown.

Tow Hook

For additional on-water thrills and spills, all WaveRunners come with a strong tow hook allowing for the secure towing of inflatable tubes, wake boarders or skiers.

Integrated Mirrors

Incorporating Yamaha’s trademark compact and edgy design styling, the integrated mirrors not only look good but aid rider visual awareness and safety.

Large Extended Swim Platform

Roomy and comfortable, the large extended rear platform is the ideal place for soaking up the surroundings, getting in and out of the water or simply doing nothing at all. The decking platform is fitted with two-tone Hydro-Turf mats for optimum looks, grip and comfort.

Massive 168L Storage

The FX Series WaveRunners come with a massive 168 litres of storage. This includes a large and fully watertight glove box, under-seat storage bucket, rear stern rope storage and enlarged storage area under the front hood.

Open Loop Cooling System

All Yamaha WaveRunners utilise open loop cooling, which is used by 99% of marine manufacturers. Open loop systems have been proven to be the most effective, reliable and maintenance free solution for marine environments, which means lower cost of ownership and less time off the water.

Integrated GPS System

The built-in GPS system* allows you to add and follow waypoints; create, record and save tracks; and accurately track your speed.
